Rivers State of Nigeria..
Rivers state is one of the 36 states of Nigeria.
Created in May 27th 1967, it constitutes one of the earliest states
which came into being upon the dissolution of the old regional
structure.
With its capital in Port Harcourt, the state is
bounded on the south by the Atlantic Ocean, to the North by the
Anambra, Imo, Abia states, to the East by Akwa Ibom state and to the
west by Bayelsa and Delta states
.
